Power Query - Import Error Help

I'm brand new to Power Query (day #1 to be exact), and having trouble importing my data. I'm currently in an Excel .xlsm workbook which i am buiding to be able to print daily stats for a business based. These stats will be aggregated from the company's daily reporting (which is also in .xlsm format).

To start, I opened a blank new sheet in my workbook, then went to Data>Get Data>From File>From Folder. Then when the file explorer appeared, I navigated to & selected Desktop>YTD Reports because that folder will house all 6 of my daily data folders which I will extract data from. There is currently only 1 file in this folder, but that's because I'm just trying to get it running correctly before I load up the other files.

However, then after selecting COMBINE & TRANSFORM DATA, I receive this error even though the file is a valid Excel Doc (.xlsm):
    Error.PNG
ANy idea why this is happening, and how I can get past it?

Rule 03: Cross-posting Without Telling Us

Your post does not comply with Rule 3 of our Forum RULES. Do not cross-post your question on multiple forums without telling us about your threads on other forums.

Post a link to any other forums where you have asked the same question.

Cross-posting is when you post the same question in other forums on the web. The last thing you want to do is waste people's time working on an issue you have already resolved elsewhere. We prefer that you not cross-post at all, but if you do (and it's unlikely to go unnoticed), you MUST provide a link (copy the url from the address bar in your browser) to the cross-post.

Read this to understand why we ask you to do this.

I have added the crosspost reference for you today. Please comply with this and all our rules in the future

Mmmkay. While I understand the rule and the reason, it just sucks when you're trying to get something answered quicker than the answers are coming.

Perhaps you should exercise a little patience. The help you get on these forums is completely for free, so don't treat it like a service, as you are paying nothing.

Providing a sample workbook would probably get your question answered quicker.

Patience, patience, patience. This is a forum of all volunteers from around the world. They help here as they have time. It is not a job for them. It has only been two hours since you original post here. While you are working, the answer may be around the world where someone is sleeping. If your issue is so time sensitive as you cannot wait at least 24 hours for a response, then perhaps you should look to hire someone from the consulting world and not look to these "Free" forums for your solution. Give it time and you may be surprised by the results.
