Auto Invoice Generator

Hi everyone,

I am hoping to do this for my company and I have incredibly limited knowledge about this, so thank you in advance!

We are trying to have an Invoice Generator which only generates an Invoice number after we save it as a PDF.

Also hoping the PDF name generated is based on information filled in prior to saving, for example: YYMMDD### Type Customer.pdf

So not only will the Macro generate the name of the PDF based on information on the excel but also filling in the Invoice number back into the excel itself ie: YYMMDD###

Reason for the number to only be generated after saving as PDF and not upon opening is because we don't want a colleague to accidentally open or a customer cancelling mid-way and having an Invoice number generated but never saved making audit wonder what happened to that particular invoice went.

Generating the next Invoice Number can be as simple as :

You can include the above code in your SAVE routine prior to actually saving the document or it can be attached to a COMMAND BUTTON
and the next number generated by clicking the button.

But I am really looking for a more specific Invoice Generator whereby a Macro that will generate the name of the PDF based on information on the excel and not merely 001, 002 etc.
