linking a worksheet to a dynamic source

First of all, I apologize if I am using wrong terminology to describe what I need.
I am trying to link a worksheet with formulas to a source file that changes on a daily basis. The worksheet with formulas needs to be dynamic based on the source file.
Is there a fast way to link the worksheet with formulas without having to change all formulas to update the source file.
Another thing to mention is that the name of the source file has a date and time stamp so it changes every time the source file is generated
it looks something like this: xReport 2021.04.19-054536
So the blue portion of the source file name, date and time stamp, change when a new source file is generated.
This is just high level description. Is this something can be done?

Based on the description of what you are attempting, you may be able to utilize Power Query.
I am assuming that the source file could be placed in a folder such that when the file updates it will be the only file in that folder.
If that assumption is correct then the information in the linked video tutorial may help: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QogBqCx_EgY
Note that the tutorial talks about importing multiple files, however I feel that the same steps could be used to import your source file as it is the only file in the folder.
Since Power Query assigns a name to the table, you could use structured references in your formulas or you could see if the existing formulas update to automatically reference the number of rows in the table.
To be of more help we would probably need to see a sample of the source data and formulas that reference it in an .xlsx file (instructions given in the banner at the top of the page).
Let us know if you have any questions.
Consider taking the time to add to the reputation of everybody that has taken the time to respond to your query.
