character Å (probably Chr(134)) doesn't work

Hello,

I would need to add character Å into text. It's summary character for barcode 128. It should be Chr(143), but this is in range, which doesn't work in VBA. Any tip how to do it and don't have to write it into cell in worksheet?

It works with ChrW(&H00C5).

Chr(197) also produces that character for me.
