customize Comments default formatting for default workbook

I'm not sure if this is the right forum for my question. If not, where does it belong?

I want to customize the default Text Alignment for all Comments to be "center horizontally" & "center vertically". I also want "automatic size" to be a default format. I know how to do it one comment at a time, but would rather create my own custom default.

Can this be done?

The below put comments in screen center after clicking on them, is that what you wanted? (I think I "stole" the idea off a googled search). Top two routines go in worksheet code, last goes in a module.

Apparently what I called Comments are now called Notes in Excel 365 ... Let me try again.

As part of my default workbook template:

I want Notes to stay attached to the cells, not the screen.

When I open a New Note box, a) my name is gone; b) text alignment is as described above; and c) the box sizes itself automatically based on the text entered.

Is that clearer? Also, I'll need a more detailed explanation of how to put the coding where it needs to go - I don't understand what you said about that.
