Hide the content of a cell

    Good evening all

I have attached an extract from my workbook.

I would like to hide the content of a cell based on the value from an If statement in another cell

B52 contains an if statement with conditional formatting. The value can either be "No - Privately funded" or "Yes - Funded as Normal with the Reduction Indicated"

If the value of B52 is "No........" then I would like the content of B54 to be visible and if "Yes.........." then not.

    Any help would be great!

Select B54 & in conditional formatting, new rule, use a formula & use
    Formula: copy to clipboard

    Thank you very much Fluff13

I must be doing something wrong it is not working!

I have clicked on B54 and gone to Conditional Formatting - New Rule - Use a formula to determine........ and pasted =LEFT(B52,2)="no" into the Format values where....... area and then clicked ok.

Re: Hide the content of a cell

    Thank you very much.

It works, but the opposite to what I require. If it is "no" I need to see the content of of B54 and if "yes" then not.

I'm sure I could play around with what you sent me and work it out, hopefully.

    Thank you for your time.
