How to insert a drop down calender

As the title says, I want to know how to insert a drop down calendar in excel sheets. I did some browsing and found that I need to have Microsoft Date and Time Picker Control downloaded for that. I am using Office 2019 but I couldn't find that control under ActiveX controls (according to google searches, Office 2016 and above should have it). So how do I get or find it? Any working link or trick will be appreciated.

    Thank You!

    Is this any help.

It's a date picker I designed for a client a while back. There's a Date Picker userform in with the attached file as well as the module and sheet code mentioned below.

It responds to a Sheet SelectionChange event where there is a cell named "startdate". Change that If Not Intersect...code to include a whole column of dates if you wish.

See attached file where D1 is the startdate

Re: How to insert a drop down calender

Over the years datepickers have been the cause of much frustration.
In the link below is the approach I take if at all possible (i.e. if people listen and do not insist on having pretty gizmos, with bells and whistles).
Far quicker to use a simple textbox (enter the date as eight digit number or time as four digit number(24 hour clock) textbox formatted to put separators in automatically
However if you want a datepicker and cannot install MS default, try one of the attached files - double click in cell - in the case of the one with a table on the sheet, it follows the active cell, it will only allow you to enter a date when there is data in the adjoining cell of the table - with the one with a timepicker click on the hour or mins window, it will highlight, you can then use the spinner to adjust, selecting the date then places the combined date & time in the cell.
