    DOS command using excel VBA with virus threat warning

    Hello,

    I try to execute a dos command using excel VBA, and I got a virus threat warning:
    Please Login or Register  to view this content.
    and excel is closed automatically.

    Any idea, how to avoid?

    BTW your code does not clear cache, it clears the clipboard. If all you are trying to do is clear the clipboard you can do this:

    it is "Microsoft Defender Antivirus" on 21H1

    I also got an alert using MalwareBytes. Although the command itself is benign it probably uses some type of back-door exploit that could be used for malicious purposes. You might be able to configure Defender to allow it, but I don't know how.

    Also see my other post for an alternative, if all you are trying to do it clear the clipboard.
