Copy Conditional Formatting Every Other Cell in a Range

Hi, I want to copy paste a cell conditional formatting to every other cell in a range of cells. I have attached before and after sample file and below is the vba code. Appreciate your support.

Rather than applying CF to each cell individually, would you consider having two rules covering a bigger range? This is a much cleaner method than adding numerous rules with VBA.

To replicate your intended results, highlight cells E4:AB4 and add this new rule for red (Formula to determine format):
