    Locking formula result values

I have a spreadsheet that I use to keep track of Gas and Electricity useage.

One cell $A$1 contains the cost per kWh Column B contains kWh used in period. Result is stored in Column C.

I need to lock column C so that when A$1$ is changed existing values in column C are not changed

    Re: Locking formula result values

You can do this with VBA, but not with formulae. Shall I move the thread for you?

EDIT: Thread moved. Don't open duplicate threads, please.
