    Making a selectioncfor a pivottable

The attached workbook has, on sheet1, the result of a query from an SQL database which occupies the first 5 columns. The remaining 3 columns just result in the last column which gives the year and week number of the order date, done so that I can deal with a financial year starting in December.
I would like to be able to summarise this table in a pivottable set out as the one presented but with a selection of YrNo like "all weeks > 202135"
I would like to be able to set up the pivot to do this so I could simply put a refresh line in my vba code. When I have tried this using the value filters in the column labels section I just get no values coming through. How should I go about this?

    Hi,

you could just make it without VBA and refresh the query

maybe the added workbook give you a idea to get it working

Please be as complete as possible in your asking so it may save use all the time to rework the solution because you didn't give all the requirements. If you have a layout in mind please work it out first so we can adapt our solution to it. Thanks.

Many thanks for your suggestion. It fits the bill perfectly. It is simple and obvious (except to me!)
