    how many formations are possible of the three letters=LSM, BUT WITHOUT REPEATING EX=LLS, YOU CANNOT EXCLUDE
    MLS= ok yes, because there is no repetition calculate the total of formations without repeating letters

    From a link I gave you last week (https://www.mathsisfun.com/combinato...mutations.html ). This time, we are looking at the "permutations without repetition" section. And the result for how many permutations for "3 choices without repetition" is 3! (as John has shown). Excel also has the built in PERMUT() function for this calculation: https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/...7-f246a7a602d3
