Save as and checkin other file

How can i run a marco to save as a file and checkin the "old/other" file?

The name of the other file can vary because of the person how saves it.

Hi,

according to the initial post if you need to keep the original workbook as it is under the active Excel session
so you should better use SaveCopyAs rather than SaveAs method …

But SaveCopyAs on sharepont doesn't work.

According to your issue you must use the workbook property FullName rather than Path ! Just reading VBA help …

I used full name, but when VBA saveas a file it closes the original. Then i have to reopen the original before VBA can CheckIn the file. That is a slow long progress.
