Using the same cell as source and as destination of a formula

I'd like to place the result of the formula in the same cell where it's calculated.
It's a quite complicated formula that calculates the check-digit of a ean13 code, which is a code with 12 numbers + 1 check digit.
What I'd like to do is paste the value with 12 digit in the cell and display the result in the same place.
Actually it's not me pasting the values but it's power automate desktop saving to the excel sheet

    Thanks

Do you mean you want it all to happen in A1? If so, then you will need VBA. Shall I move the thread for you?

OK - will do this now.

    Administrative Note:

Please don't quote whole posts, especially when you are responding to the one immediately preceding your own - it's just clutter. It's OK to quote if you are responding to a post out of sequence, but limit quoted content to a few relevant lines that makes clear to whom and what you are responding. Thanks!

Re: Using the same cell as source and as destination of a formula

You can't create a formula in a cell that depends on the value in that cell. You can either put the value in a different cell (as you have done already) or use VBA to overwrite the original cell contents. As an aside, this might work as a smaller formula for B2 (although I have O365 so it might not work in 2016):

This should create the correct values in column A:
