"A program is trying to automatically send e-mail." message when sending with outlook

    My settings:
my security setting is set to warm me about suspicious activity when my anti virus is inactive or out of date

    the issue:
I get the "A program is trying to automatically send e-mail on your behalf. Do you want to allow this?" message when trying to send emails - sometimes.

I know I can get around this using CDO (or with an auto clicker). So my question is not about how to directly resolve it but about the way that this error seems to not occur all the time despite how I have a lot of auto emails doing a lot of tasks in various ways (it only stops on a small sample of them.)

Since I imagine this is a common thing that comes up for us - I wonder if anyone has better insight than me as to what the criteria is.

maybe Microsoft gets worried about the ones that send multiple emails in quick succession ? or send from unsaved documents? or add anything complex to the body of the email? or is it a bug in the anti virus or related to something like the send clashing with something the virus scanner is doing?

I can trial and error thins but maybe someone knows better.
If you want something done right... find a forum and ask an online expert.

For many years (at least 8) I have been using a third party program - Outlook Warning Doctor, which disables the mentioned window. Unfortunately, CodeTwo (the owner of the program) no longer provides this program on their website. But you will surely find third-party programs that block this window. (two I found quickly: Advanced Security for Outlook , ClickYes Software)
I am unable to answer your questions in this thread.

Yes if I cant just avoid it (which looks like it may be possible by trial an error) - I was thinking of just using a script in autoit for this, which is how I dealt with a similar issue previously.
if I run into trouble with that then yes, something like click yes is another option.
