    Re: cell formatting

    Quick answer: no.

However, longer answer: VBA might be able to be used to do what you want, but we'd need more details.

I've attached a sheet basically if a cell is changed to orange this means a holiday has been applied for I would like when the colour change is added that the word pending appears in the bottom left side of the cell.

    Thanks

OK. I'm going to move the thread to the VBA section for you, however you are going to have to change the thread title and make it properly descriptive of what you are trying to do.

    Administrative Note:

We would very much like to help you with your query, however the thread title does not really convey what your request is about. Tell us what you are trying to do, not how you think it should be done.

Please take a moment to amend your thread title. Make sure that the title properly explains your request. Your title should be explicit and not be generic (this includes function names used without an indication of what you are trying to achieve).

Please see Forum Rule #1 about proper thread titles and adjust accordingly. To edit the thread title, open the original post to edit and then click on Go Advanced (bottom right) to access the area where you can edit your title.

(Note: this change is not optional. No help to be offered until this moderation request has been fulfilled.)

    Hi

Apologies I have entered what I think is an appropriate title description, I hope this is acceptable.

    Thanks

Yes, thank you - I hope you can see that it's more appropriate. This is the sort of title you need every time, please.

@toddp2, see big yellow banner - how to attach a workbook - paperclip attachment does not work.
