Refresh queries in other workbooks

Curious......is there a way to refresh queries in another workbook using VBA?

Just wanted to know before I put too much energy delving into this.....

Sorry JEC but one quick question. Can the Close procedure by halted until the Refresh is completed? The workbook closes before the complete refresh is done......

Try to set enable background refresh to False.
You can find it in the query properties
