Pull words where Y is replaced vowel same position

looking for words with this nature , Y replaced by vowel , see results at G to K , to run on a 44444 rows dictionary

Are you saying take column E (as it is sorted within a cell alphaabetically)
IF the word in the cell contains a Y ADEIRTY is your first example search for and return if any of AADEIRT ADEEIRT ADEIIRT ADEIORT ADEIRTU are found in your dictionary

It would take less time this way round than searching every string swapping vowels for Ys

what would you do if a word contains 2 Ys as this creates may more permutations. what is the maximum number of Ys?

VIRELAI and VIRELAY is another example , it will do my end as i am searching at 44,444 rows

The maximum number of Y will be 1 times , info for MARC

The macro does the part of the Y , if tweaked a little instead of asking for the Y replacement to any vowel , you tell it Letter to Any Letter logic , it is not urgent as the thread was solved , this is only extras i am asking
