I have a query on a sheet which I would like to automatically refresh when user selects that sheet, changes value in cell ("D5") or ("F8"). There are 3 events that could trigger refresh all. The sheet is also protected so need the protection to be removed and reset after each event. I am sure this is very basic but just entering wonderful world of macros
You will probably get a better response by attaching a sample workbook. There are a couple of reasons for this: 1. A workbook removes some of the ambiguity concerning what it is you want to do and 2. People are basically lazy and don't want to have to construct the workbook before they can work on it.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but a sample spreadsheet is more likely to be worked on.
