Macro to save defined region excluding blank cells

Hello.

Currently I'm writing a program in excel which I use to generate code for waterjet cutter. Everything is fine except one thing:
I have macro inside my excel file which exports preselected region of data into *.txt file, it works, but now I need little upgrade for it.
Is it possible to alter given macro so it outputs same region of data, but ignores blank cells or filled with space?
Mocros are not my strong side.
