Color Count for Conditional Formatting

Hi,

I am currently creating a spreadsheet that will conditionally format cells with dates that are either in the future or in the past. They are green for future and red for past. I have used the below code to count the colored cells. This code does not take into account the conditionally formatted cells once I being to enter new dates.

I have spent some time researching how to do this but no luck so far. I really just need the code to paste into macro and have it work. I am not very experienced using coding or macros.

I desperately want to impress my employer with this spreadsheet so any help is greatly appreciated.
