have data be removed in one column based on another column

Hi, So I would like to have unique values in one column lets say K. The value would be formatted like (CU123456). The user would be entering values in column B. As that value is entered in B I would like for it automatically be removed from K. That way eventually K would be empty once all values were entered in B. That way we can easily look in K and see what values are left to be entered until finished.

That sounds like you will need VBA. Excel cannot delete something based on there being a value in another cell. If the values in E were copied (by formula) from another column (ZZ or whatever) then yes - it can be done by formula... otherwise no.

Are you OK with a VBA solution? If yes, I will move your thread. If no, then you'll have to think it over again.

I am ok with it. I just thought I did this before without using VBA.
