I work on a quarterly summary report which gathers/calculates information from different monthly reports. Therefore, after the end of each quarter I usually run vlookups to gather data from the 3 respective files. However, I am new to macros and I'm wondering if there's an easier, more dynamic way to gather such data through macros rather than vlookups. An example would be great, thanks!

Answer: if you can perform a task manually, you can do it with a macro. You just need to determine/define what it is you want to do.

Yeah, it would. But it's up to you to provide the files and rules … where are the files? What are their names? How do you select them? Specific files or all files in a specific folder?
