Show More Product Details Goes to Debug

Hello,

On the Report sheet there is a shape "Search" please select. Then choose an item and click on "See More Details...". At this point it goes to debug mode. Maybe there is something wrong with the range since now it is a table that the details are in?

Can someone please see if the code needs to be edited

It is putting what is in row 8 now and not the selected item. At least it is not an error.

I'll take another look - I just knew what was causing the error. What is supposed to happen when you click "see more details"?

I tried a smaller range that was within the data and it put the correct line. Instead of the selected cell range can it specify the table rows of data?

What is supposed to happen is it will put one line of details for the selected item on the Report sheet.

what do you mean by "specify the table rows of data?" I can program it so it doesn't delete the previous searched item.

I don't know how to use code for the table used range. I can see the existing range but that will change as items are added to the table. So I thought code that can allow for the expanding table range.

tables are considered defined ranges. you can find them in your name manager. They are referenced with brackets and behave similarly to a range().. there are exceptions.

Please see attached. I made a smaller range that does not include all rows. If you select an item within that range it list the one line for that item. However if the item is not in the selected range it lists all items in the code range that I put.

* there are other ways to reference tables, but for example, your table on the report sheet can be referenced by [Table2]
