How to delete hidden rows and column fast!?

Currently when I filter rows and remove hidden text, I use the document inspector to 'remove hidden rows and columns'.
Some of my sheets have thousands of rows I am trying to remove, and it takes a painstaking amount of time to remove and freezes my excel temporarily (5-10min).
Does anyone know any faster or more efficient ways at removing whole rows faster?

An easy way is to make the columns & rows to delete only visible via a filter for example like any Excel beginner operating manually
in order to delete all at once ...
Another VBA way is the classic sort & clear way, often faster than delete, even faster manually than your actual code !

The attached model can have both hidden rows (rows that contain 0 in their fifth column) and hidden columns (columns 7 and 8).

In this case I show you the resulting range to the right of the "real" range.
