You don't really need VBA. You can use a formula copied down.

Note: you seem to have crossed over columns in the description of the problem. And you have some trailing spaces that mess things up. AND you do not have any of the animals matching the Mammals list.

The trailing space is actually a non-breaking space so TRIM will not remove that.
