Unhappy Macro to find broken links

I have a macro which finds broken links and highlights the cell. Sadly the first one it marks as red it seems to continue on so, I can't see what's causing this. I am hoping a wiser head can tell me?

Thanks for looking, strangely it highlights the sites as dead but they are only reader only. Set by the administrator farm. Could that be the issue?

I guess some administrator restrictions could impact it, although I can't test this as I don't have any. Does it show something like https://www.bbc.co.uk as dead?

Maybe check in the references to see which version of Microsoft WinHTTP Services you have. Mine is 5.1

    Hi ByteMarks,

I will give it a try when I am back on the relevant system next week. Noticed a missing variable

I've checked and I do have 5.1, the macro is still detecting the sites as broken.

Re: Macro to find broken links

Are the sites ones you need to sign into?

I tested it with www.bbc.co.uk as the good link and www.fdsfds.com as the bad and it worked.
