Color (Highlight) the row of the active cell

I want to Fill, not just select (highlight) the active row the active cell is in.

I would like the ability to press Ctrl+Shift+Z and have the row of the active cell turn light yellow or light pink.

Then be able to press Ctrl+Shift+X to un highlight it.

I have looked around at the forum and didn't find exactly what I was looking for.

I have been able to create a macro that will highlight the SAME row every time but not the current row and I cannot find a way to see the recorded macro script to edit it.

Thanks for any assistance in advance.

    Tom

    Hi Kaasplankje,
That is awesome! Thank you! But it changes the color of the text not the background fill color.

    Thanks,

    Tom

I figured it out. The record macro pull down downs not toggle the use relative references option. so I blindly pressed it and rerecorded the macro and it worked.

    Thank you.

    Other possibilities.
Select any cell in Column A

Double click in any cell in any column from A to Z. It will toggle between color and no color.

Code goes in the sheet module.
