Cant convert cell to number using VBA

I have recently made a macro to check for certain values and color code them if they are greater than a certain amount. The problem is that the cell does not convert to a number unless i double click on the cell to edit. I tried a few different VBA alternatives and nothing worked.

Hey figured out the problem, so stupid it had to do with me referencing the wrong cells. I was looking at the sheet with deleted columns when referencing the cells(Using column J when I needed to use column M).
