Storing and retrieving with formulas and format

At one point in my macro I need to delete the contents of a whole sheet, but preserve columns G to H for retrieving a few steps further down, with their content and format.
This simple code restores values only:

but the format and formulas are lost.
    Thanks for any help

If the columns have the same formula and format conditions, you might not need to record it for every cell?

Could you use the Formula part to copy the formula to array:

As for the formats, could you have a temp hidden sheet where you paste the formats to and then copy them back when needed?
If things don't change they stay the same

Thank you, CheeseSandwich, this is exactly what I need (for the formulas, the important part).
And your suggestion for the formats, clever too. Thanks a world

No problem, if you want to mark it as solved then i think it is in the 'Thread Tools' drop down at the top of the thread.
