PDF Macro

Hi all I have a macro that loops a column, putting in an employee ID into a template. Once the employee ID is in there it uses formulas to bring in data from a table. Then the macro PDFs and sets the file name to what is located in a cell within the template. I have over 600 of these to PDF and they are for each individual. The macro runs fairly slow. Is there a way to punch out over 650 of these templates in much less time. Is VBA a good way to do this or should I explore other options.
