    Comparison Macro

    Hello,

Looking for a comparison macro something along the lines as this.

Enrolled tab is the actual data being compare to what we have in the system in Data tab.
Taking enrolled tab code "Column B" to Data tab Legacy "Column E".
for the outcome on data tab "Column F" would help if what missing OEM Code rows/column can turn red.

I have attached a sample template.

Thanks for the help like always.

Please explain in detail what you want to do referring to specific cells, rows, columns and sheets using a few examples from your data.

Thanks for your prompt reply back.

    Looking at the template provided.

    Comparing
    - Enrolled tab "Column B" to Data tab Legacy "Column E".
    - Basically looking for what's on Enrolled Tab "Column B" to match Data tab Legacy "Column E"
    - Results or outcome should reflect on data tab "Column F" would help if what missing OEM Code rows/column can turn red.

Hopefully this makes a little more sense.

I’m sorry but I still don’t understand. Please attach a manually created sheet showing your expected result.

There don't appear to be any matches between these columns??

Enrolled Tab "Column B" is numbers from 10130 to 10316
Data tab Legacy "Column E" is numbers from 286228 to 342962

Correct there will be none on that particular template. Since i only provided a few data but the actual one i will be working on the comparison is thousands of lines. This is the reason why i am looking for a macro to simply it.

How are you doing it now? So far it seems like a formula would be the simplest option.

    Re: Comparison Macro

I am with ByteMarks. there are no records on Enrolled that matches anything on Data.
you need a good mix of sample data to see if what you do in your code is working correctly.
For instance, all the column B on enrolled is 5 digits and all in Column E on Data sheet are 6 digits.
Enrolled all start with 1. Data E all start with 2 or 3 and six digits.

with different data to proof it might be very simple.
