    Automated invoice

    Hi

    I kindly request for an improvement or new VBA code which can enable the production of record of invoices which include VAT Amounts on the record of invoices worksheet. The current VBA it does not produce VAT amount on record of invoices worksheet. The other shortfall is that the formula on the Invoice template in the Price column which automatically write price when an item is selected on the description column is deleted whenever I press start new invoice button.

    I noticed there is no check to see if an invoice already exists so it is possible to submit te same invoice twice unless, following a submission of an invoice, you select the next (new) one.

    I have tried VBA codes are working as desired. However if possible can you kindly provide a control VBA, that will not allow someone to print before clicking Add to Record button , so that there is no situation where someone is given an invoice which is not recorded.

    Both "RecordofInvoce" and "SaveasPDF" update the "Record of Invoices" sheet so you get duplicate records: so which do you want?

    Why not simply use "SaveAsPDF" which records the Invoice Details (identical to "Record of Invoice" which is redundant)

    Thank you for the VBA. SAVE AS PDF is working but it does not record the name of the customer, amount and VAT. I also want include security measure that it should not allow printing before saving as pdf and also to protect invoice number not to be deleted. See the attached sheet.

    Wrong! I added the VAT (highlighted in my previous post) and it does record the other 2 items .

    None of your macros are secure as I pointed out earlier: it is easy to add duplicate copies of an invoice on "Record of Invoices" simply by doing "Add To Record" followed by "SaveAs PDF".

    Thanks for the VBAs. I think it's best I start a new workbook that incorporates control measures.
