    enabling macros

    Hi,

Is it possible to make a spreadsheet with macros that opens and does
not require the user to enable the macros when the sheet is open.
    thanks

    NO.

But you can "self Sign" the macro (at least you can with newer versions of
office like XP). So that the first time you or a co-worker opens the file
containing a macro they can click a box that says something like...

"Allways allow macros written by billy bob"

And presto. No more popup box.

search the grooup for "self sign" for instrusctions.
