    Help:Using Macro in Excel

    Hi Guys,

    I need your help. . . . .
    I've 2 colums A & B.
    A has 1000 rows & B has 750 rows, I want to compare column B with A.

    For example:

    Column A
    Issuance 1.0 (1.00) 11/07/2004 10:58 a.m.
    Issuance 1.0 (1.01) 11/20/2004 11:00 a.m.
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.31) 11/20/2004 11:00 a.m
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.32) 11/19/2004 08:00 a.m
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.33) 11/20/2004 02:00 a.m
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.34) 11/21/2004 13:00 p.m

    Column B
    Issuance 1.0 (1.00) 11/07/2004 10:58 a.m.
    Issuance 1.0 (1.01) 11/20/2004 11:00 a.m.
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.32) 11/20/2004 11:00 a.m
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.33) 11/01/2004 15:00 p.m
    Micrsft Htfix 2.0 (2.31) 11/21/2004 17:00 p.m

    1. I need to compare column B with A, find out the following

    a. If the Highest version in column B match with column A, high lite the cell in column B in blue.
    b. In some cases column A has the highest version than column B, in that case I need the cell in column A to be colored red

    2. I need these calculations done by clicking a command button in Excel. If you guys please please help me in creating a macro code for the command button I will be grateful.

    Thanks
