    Talking Easy one about offsets

Right now, I have a string getting popped into column G in whichever selected cells correspond to column A using this:

    Selection.Offset(0, 6) = LQDate

I figure it'd be easier not to have such strict code that forces me to have to be in column A. What can I do to get the string to go into column G wherever I'm at on the sheet?
