Question need column and row info of a given cell

I have a macro that prompts a user for a range name.
My macro starts to navigate through the given range using a for loop

    For each c in range
    .....
    Next c

Is there a way to get the row and column information for c?
I need to get at the information that is relative to the data in c (if that makes sense)

    Any help is appreciated.

    TIA!

    Heather.

You can use the Column, Row and Address properties for the cell.

Ok. But doesn't this send the information back to the user? I need to process the information within the macro?

    Or am I really confused?

Thank you for responding so quickly.

    Heather.

The msgboxes are just to illustrate how you return the row etc.

    You could use variables.

These could then be used in subsequent code.
