Change size of comments?

I am adding comments (NoteText) on the fly - is there a way to size the comment boxes? All the coding I've tried hasn't worked. I know the old way to add/change comments was NoteText - that is the only thing I can get to work, but I can't resize it.

I searched the forums to no avail...
