Go to source cell

I have a workbook where a lot of cells (I will call “the destination cell”) “=” cells in other worksheets of the workbook (“the source cell”). That is, the contents of the destination cell consist of the “=” sign and the address of the source cell.

I like to create a macro where I copy the destination cell minus the “=” sign. This action would put the address of the source cell on the clipboard. Then I would pull up the “Go to cell” dialogue box and paste the source cell address into the cell reference section of the box, and press enter. The source cell should become the active cell.

The trouble is that the best I can get, when I try to record a macro as above, is a relative address, not the address of the source cell.

Can anybody help me, please?
