    Excel Goal Seek vs. Solver

Does anyone have a recommendation for Goal Seek vs. Solver in terms of
execution speed? I read somewhere that Solver was a little faster than Goal
Seek but when I used it though VBA, it seems slower.

    Thanks,
    -Adrian

What is faster is often very subjective. If I were in your shoes and
if speed was relevant -- which is often *not* the case -- I'd go with
whatever was faster for me in my environment for my problem.

Also keep in mind that if the goal seek target does not differ much from the current value, sometimes goal seek will say it found a solution and doesn't change the "changing cell". Solver does not have this problem.
