How do I enter a not to exceed number 1 in a formula?

    How do I enter a not to exceed number 1 in a formula?

    I am creating a Building Code analysis and a formula result can not exceed
    1.0. How do I create this?

    x/y = number (but not to exceed 1.0)

    There must be a modifier but I need assistance. Anyone?
