Save as Text (tab delimited) problem

My spreadsheet has data in column A,B and D C is always blank. My saved file
    looks as below:

    111111 -1234.00 GBX020H44A
    111111 1234.00 GBX020H44A
    222222 100.00 GBX020H44A
    222222 -100.00 GBX020H44A
    333333 12345.00 GBX020H44A
    333333 -12345.00 GBX020H44A

I would like each column to be aligned but it looks as though as soon as I
exceed 7 characters in column B everything gets pushed. What can I do to keep
    it aligned?

In addition to Tom’s suggestion, you can always force a specific format in
    the same fashion as printing:

Outside of Excel, define a new printer
    1. Tell the wizard it’s a local printer
    2. Make the port FILE
    3. Manufacturer if GENERIC
    4. Printer is TEXT ONLY
(If you output to the printer, it will ask you for a file name)

If you print the cell set (rather than SaveAs), the file will exactly follow
your alignment instructions. In addition, PrintPreview will quickly allow
    you to make adjustments.
