I have assigned a macro to a text box on the sheet, the macro refreshes data, inserts some columns and rows, which moves my text box around. How can i lock the position of the button to a certain spot on the sheet?

Right-click your text-box and select "Format Text Box". (Make sure you
aren't editing the text box). Click on the "Properties" tab. Select the
option "Don't move or size with cells".
