I've got some VBA code that opens various Excel workbooks and tests their
contents. Occasionally, I run across workbooks that are password protected.
There's no way I'm going to know what these passwords are, nor do I care. I'd
like the code to simply skip over these files and not open them.

Does anyone know of a way to examine a file (either with Excel or with the
FileSystemObject) and tell whether it's got a password?

Incidentally, I'd like to do the same thing if the workbook is protected as
well.

I'd appreciate any advice you might have.
