Copying formulas EXCEPT into cells with formulas

Hello. I have a formula in B1 and then a bunch of rows below. Some of those rows already have a formula in them. How can I copy the formula into just the rows without formulas? THis could be with vba code or without. I was thinking of creating a named range of all the non-formula cells and then I could copy into that but I'm not sure if that would work with non-adjacent cells. I'd like to learn how to do this with vba and regular excel if possible.

Maybe this approach:

• Copy cell B1

• Select the target range below B1....B2:B100
• F5 (shortcut for Home.Find&Select.Go to)
...Click: Special Cells
...Check: Constants...Click: OK
• CTRL+V (to paste the formula in those cells

• Select the target range below B1 (again)....B2:B100
• F5
...Click: Special Cells
...Check: Blanks...Click: OK
• CTRL+V (to paste the formula in those cells)
Done

When I check constants it tells me no cells were found.

Ah, I think because they are blanks, so I'll just use blanks instead of constants.
