    Question Returning a combo box to its uppermost value

    Dear all,

    I'm trying to create a button that when clicked will set 3 combo boxes to its first setting (which says Select Week or some other introductory text)

    I've tried to do it by recording a macro, but when I did what I wanted it to do the macro was empty!

    Is there a way to do this?

    Many thanks in advance,

    Chris

    Steve,

    Sorry for taking so long to get back to you - I'm only working on this intermittantly. How do I find out the name of the combo box so I can put it in?

    When I go to assign a macro to the combo boxes, they come up with these options:

    DropDown2_Change
    DropDown3_Change
    DropDown4_Change

    I assumed that the names of the boxes were DropDown2, 3 & 4, but when I replace combobox1, 2 & 3 with those numbers, it returns an error. The code I'm using is:

    Sub Button5_Click()
    DropDown2.ListIndex = 0
    DropDown3.ListIndex = 0
    DropDown4.ListIndex = 0
    End Sub

    Is that wrong?

    Thanks,

    Chris
