Question finding if more then 1 copy of a sheet exists?

    Hello,

I have a document that opens another excel sheet(called Db.xls), makes a copy of an existing sheet called "FORMATTING", places it at the end, and then renames that sheet to the desired name.

What I am trying to do is if the Db.xls is closed before a rename process can
happen, the next time I open the file, I am trying to figure out if any sheets
called "FORMATTING (*)" where the * is ANY number. Of course I could search for "FOMATTING" but this would find the original, which I DO NOT want touched or deleted (it is used as a template effectivly). But searching for "FORMATTING (" doesnt work either.

Anybody know of a way to search worksheet names for a specific name with wildcards ? or for a pattern, and delete them ALL WITHOUT deleting ANY other sheets ?

THANKS A TON in advance guys,

    spyrule.

p.s. I can't really upload a zip file sadly, since my work doesn't allow it.
