Hi,
Your post is unclear.
1). A sheet only has 256 ColumnsSheet1, I have 1000 columns with data from A1:A100 to ALL1:100
2) ALL1:100 is not a range.

Would Duncan1 be using Excel 2007 which i understand has
1 million rows and 16000 columns
Never seen Excel 2007 so I do not know the exact specs - only what I have read & heard

Yes, I am using Excel 2007 and the range ALL1:100 is a typo it should have been All1:all100. But the problem that I am having can be applied to 256 columns.
Duncan
