    Exclamation Extracing Data

Hi every one. I'm a new user to this forum and I searched the forum but could not find an answer to my problem.

I have an excel sheet which contains financial information of different stocks. i've attached a sample file. Sheet1 is the data and Sheet2 is the format file. Any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

What I would like is this:

I need a program that will search colum B for 2 parameters. "Net Income" and "Dividends Paid"

If "Net Income" exists, then copy whole row to Sheet2.
If not, insert blank row in sheet2.

If "Dividends Paid" exists, then copy whole row to sheeet2.
If not, insert blank row in sheet 2

I would like the above function done one after the other, for example:
    Net Income
    Dividends Paid
    Net Income
    Dividends Paid

I would like this process to continue for a set range. For example(B2000)

In Sheet3, I've manually done what I need to give you guys an idea of what I'm trying to accomplish. Thank you again!!!

    Please Help!

Antoka, I'm having some problems, Please Help!

    1. I ran the macro you gave me on the actual data file and the extracted data is skipping 2 stocks. I have a list of 500 stocks and the macro extracts 2 lines per stock (1000 lines) and I'm only getting 996. I checked this 4 or 5 times.

    2. Is there any way to extract the data as is? I mean, if the number is a negative, to extract it as a negative?

Sorry for all the questions and thank you again for all your help!

The actual data file is about 1.3MB compressed and this forum won't let me upload it. so i've uploaded it to another site and provided the download link. Please Help!

    Hi,

you may have 500 products, but on your Data sheet, if you count "*net income*" there are 498 which * 2 = 996

you can also count "*net*, "*n i*" etc and still find only 498

Perhaps the error is in your data.
