    Excel macro--header issues

    Hello,

I've heard good things about this forum so I figure I'd give it a shot. I want my excel headers to update automatically using cell references...how do i write a macro to describe this?

    Thanks,
    -T

    Hello Dagwood2005,

There are 3 different headers on a worksheet: Page headers, Column headers, and Row headers. Which ones(s) are refering to? Also, which cells are you using to update the headers?

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross

Page header---more specifically the center header.

    Thanks!

oh, and i would just be referencing cells in the worksheet. for instance, on a worksheet entitled "A" with a value "2000" in cell "A1", i would want to reference the cell as =+A!A1. or would that even possible in this instance? i have no idea.

    Thanks!

    Hello Dagwood2005,

Since I don't know anything about your Worksheet layout I am giving you a code example of how to set the Center Page Header. We can go from here if you have more specific application questions.

Please Login or Register to view this content.
This code sets the Center Header equal to whatever you have in cell "A1".

    Sincerely,
    Leith Ross
